Rebecca Eland, poet and ballet dancer, lives in Boulder, Colorado. She received her BA from Naropa University, and her MFA from Saint Mary’s College of California. She teaches writing and composition and has taught English as a Second Language, and practicums on poetry and movement. Recent work appears in the Emerald Tablet Project, edited by Derrick Fenner from Boot Strap Press, Jacket2, and Spoon River Poetry Review. In 2014, she had the honor to join a group of poets in Scotland for the centennial celebration of John Muir, and the inauguration of The John Muir Way. They hiked 130 miles, planting trees native to Scotland and the Sierra Nevada. Presently, Rebecca is placing the finishing touches on a collection of poetry titled, Within the Hour.
